A lot goin on in my mind pt 2

Seeing that I was excited to post, I forgot the others haha

Looking forward to this week...

- I'll be finishing the last whole track revision for our client in Germany. Imagine, last week, I had tomake 12 songs... 12 whole tracks. No wonder my stress blisters were really bad.

- I'll be getting my new laptop... which leads me to....

- I'll be able to prepare my new livesets!

- I'll be finishing my latest ad... and I hope to find out if the other ad I sang in was approved!

- My band, Lovecore, will be playing in Saguijo! I personally missed that!

- Will be meeting regarding the formal launch of Devotion. Yes, you read that right... FINALLY!!! hehe

- There's something in this week that's giving me this excited feeling and I dunno what. I think there's another greats surprise God has for me! There always is!

A lot goin on in my mind...

Pardon the randomness of this one...

Just finished eating 2 slices of Garlic and Cheese pizza and mojos with caesar dip left over from my meal last night. eating it at 5:30 am is grreatt!

The bad... my net was down for a week and without confirmation on the fix, I still await ANY word from PLDT...

The good... I just finished sending my album to a writer for a foreign publication who asked to review Devotion! I can't wait to see it in their pages!!! This is indeed a great surprise from God and it's just the small ones at this point... I can feel it!

Had a nice Sunday. Played in GenCon Church in Taytay Rizal. I very much enjoyed it and it was a great feeling to minister to the younger musicians there. I hope we were able to inspire as well. After that, we had dinner in Shakey's in Ortigas center (since we're RARELY in the area). Then we headed to Makati for a wake of my friend's dad. Learned a lot about nurses. I salute you nurses all over!!!

Now I'm waiting for a video upload on youtube, which I think will take longer than expected (gulp) I wanna sleep already! hehe

I'm just glad I was able to finally send the materials for review. Stay tuned for the update on that magazine!!!

The NU107 Against The Flow guesting

I recently visited NU and was a guest for their show Against The Flow...

The DJ, Jordan, has seen me in all my incarnations as a musician from drummer, to vocalist, to guitar player, and of course, as silverfilter. It was a pleasure to finally be on NU as silverfilter. I guess it has always been a goal of mine to be on it. Jordan was very accommodating and the moment I mentioned about the new album and asked if he would be willing to have me and go through the album, he said yes and gave me a date.

The guesting was fun. I think Jordan was surprised to hear the lighter side of me since he's only heard my dance tracks. He didn't know it was an ambient album at all. I was also hoping to go through a lot of the tracks but the time wasn't enough. I really wanted to do a whole album preview talking about the songs, etc but the limit is there and we have to live with it. We covered 3 tracks. It was enough to get even just a few people to take notice. I got someone to visit the site and drop a line saying he heard me on NU. Some of my friends also texted ordering the album from hearing me on air so it's all good.

As usual, I handed some silverfilter pins and stickers, did the usual shoots for photos, and basically had fun.

I'll be at the edgeradio.net this Friday to continue the promotions for the new album. Tune in!
