Unfollow Dead Twitter Accounts

Untweeps
Let's face it. There are serious people into social networking, and there are those who just join because they were told to or because it's a fad. It's really sad for those who join for the latter reason. But it's a reality and you may have followed some people who simply gave up with the whole twitter thing and it just clutters your following list on your account.

In comes untweeps.com. This site presents you a list of people you follow who have abandoned their twitter accounts and gives you the option to unfollow them. You have the choice to fill in how may days YOU consider a twitter account may be considered abandoned or dead. It's really up to you. You can also keep a list of people you still want to follow. Everything's up to you. You decide who to unfollow. All the site does is help you sort it out.

Why would you want to do this? Well, some people might say they'd just keep them in the list for the sake of it or possibly because they're just too lazy to go through them one by one. The benefit however of cleaning your twitter following list is that people who follow so many "may" be considered spammers and we don't want that. It's a long shot to be considered one but some articles written about Twitter hint at how people with so many people followed are sometimes considered spammers.

So there. Just another thing to help you sort out your twitter account :)

Enjoy!

Twitter and People No Longer Interested

Doesfollow

I remember a few years back, some famous DJ followed me back after I followed him. At that time, I was ecstatic! He was even tweeting back initially but then as some twitter communications go, it stopped. Fast forward to today, I wonder if some people who decided to follow me still do because if you read some Twitter "rules" some people will say that you should automatically follow back anyone who does. But I'm guessing some just do it then unfollow after some time. And so this lead me to find out who still has me on their twitterfeeds. In comes http://www.doesfollow.com and their service. All it is is it has 2 boxes and you just need to fill in the usernames for you to find out if someone is still following either you or someone else. This helps save time than actually making you go through the whole list of followers you have looking for someone. This one only takes a click after typing in the usernames.

If you're the chismosa/o type or you just like to get in on things, you can also just put other usernames like if you wanna find out if an actor follows a particular actress or a singer follows so and so... you get the picture I'm sure.

Twitter is about building an online relationship and if someone does unfollow you, I'm guessing that he/she may not be no longer interested in you and since it ends up with you just following them, it seems like a one way street and may just be adding to the clutter of users you need to go through daily. For me, that's where this site proves useful. It's better to keep a good list of people you follow who are also genuine in their desire to build a relationship with you. But of course if you're following a famous pop star, then that's a different topic altogether.

Give it a try and get your twitter cleansed :)

Korg Micropiano

Index

Korg has had huge success with their micro series from the virtual analog Microkorg, then the microkontrol, Microsampler, and now, the Micropiano.

It's a 61 key digital piano with 61 sounds. It's battery powered and has a headphone out which also serves as its main out. It also has built in speakers making this a very mobile instrument to bring anywhere for just jamming out especially if you're a piano player. They say the keyboard has a different feel to it. I'm just hoping it's unlike the early microkorgs because the keys were so short, it really felt like a toy with the keyboard feel.

Korg is a Japanese company but made in China and the thing about their recent products is that it doesn't feel like a solid product. Add that to the micro look, people have looked at a number of recent Korg products to be toys. It's pretty negative if you go over forums but we can't avoid it. They still have really nice and top products that still makes an impact to dance music today. But to some extent I agree to some opinions of it since I own a Korg R3. It doesn't feel as solid as say my old Korg MS2000 or Prophecy. Don't discount this new keyboard though here's why.

As much as people may say that they're toys, the feature set is great and personally, I can recommend this to parents who would want their kids to get into playing the piano. It looks really nice and with the soundset, I'm sure there are a lot to be had with this.

New Guitar Album :)

The design my wife made to the studio got featured in a design blog and since we were pressed for time, we had to do the photos ourselves than have them bring in a photographer. We're no pros at all and so we just made do with my point and shoot and had a go. Since we were already shooting, Bernice wanted the photos to include my guitars and this is the reason why we have another new album. We were shooting anyway so I asked her that I'd just add some more shots :)

Pictured here are my Fender John Mayer Strat, My Fender 40th Anniv Strat Plus, My American Vintage 62 Telecaster, and my Gibson Les Paul Premium Plus :)

Enjoy!
